| course description | The Information Management major in the Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems (BITS) is a 144 point coursework program. The BITS consists of three years of full-time study or part-time equivalent. It is offered at Caulfield campus with units available in a variety of modes, including some as distance education. Graduates of the course are also eligible for professional-level membership of the Australian Computer Society. VCE prerequisites are Units 1 and 2 - general mathematics or mathematical methods (either). Units 3 and 4 - a study score of at least 25 in English (any). TAFE applicants are required to have at least a completed Certificate IV.
