The Board of Education has awarded the 1997 Dunn & Wilson Scholarship to Ms Lorraine Denny. Ms Denny will be presented with the Scholarship at the 9th Library Technicians' conference to be held in Canberra from 24-26 September.
Ms Denny will examine job descriptions within Australian libraries by focusing on library technician job descriptions. A great deal of time and resources are devoted to developing library job descriptions, and Ms Denny will investigate whether they current, relevant and useful both to the library technician and to the relevant organisation. |
