| To provide General Council with a report of the activities of the ALIA Publishing Policy Committee (ALIAPPC).
The ALIAPPC has not met face-to-face since May 1997. However, the Committee is using the aliaPPC listserv [a closed listserv] to conduct day-to-day activity.
The Committee has been asked to consider the level of remuneration and expenses paid to the ALJ editor, John Levett, following a letter from John requesting a review of his remuneration. This discussion is underway at the time of writing.
A face-to-face meeting is planned for the first quarter of 1998. |
