ALIA General Council meeting deadlines

  There are a number of important dates in relation to the preparation for ALIA General Council meetings. The timeline is constructed to allow for the administrative processes that must take place prior to each meeting, and to allow ALIA general councillors, ALIA office holders, and members of the Association sufficient time to formulate and submit papers, digest the material presented, and prepare for the meeting in question.

Agenda items are determined generally one month prior to each meeting. Papers for submission (preferably via the electronic form) must be received by ALIA National Office generally within one working week from this date.

Papers are then assembled and formatted to the ALIA General Council 'house style', and are then made available through GC Online at least two weeks prior to each meeting. Photocopies of printed versions of these pages are despatched to general councillors at the same time, if required.
