Health Education Sites
If you are into bookmarking Web sites for specific units, or making links from learning areas on your library's home page, you might be interested in the following which we have accessed for the Year 9 Health Education course. I also found these addresses to be useful starting points for teaching students how to evaluate sites for authority and responsibility.

The Effect of New Technology on Literacy
The ABC's Ockham's Razor of Sunday 29 September was titled 'Information literacy: The effect of new technology on literacy'. It is worth tracing on the Web. There are some excellent comments in this paper which could be used when writing submissions for funding.

  • You can find Oranaon the World Wide Web through ALIAnet (http://archive.alia.org.au/sections/cyss/orana/ - the official and enduring location) or at babs.com.au/orana (which is by far the quicker route during the present developmental stage).
[Orana is now located on ALIAnet at http://archive.alia.org.au/sections/cyss/orana/]
