Australian law journals: an analysis of citation patterns

Dennis Warren - La Trobe University Library

Abstract
This article reports on an analysis of the citations appearing in the 1995 issues of 32 Australian law serials. The research has enabled the listing of the 100 most frequently cited titles. The country of publication of the cited titles and the year of publication of the cited articles reveal interesting trends that have implications for serials collection development and serials management in academic libraries.

Revised version of a paper presented at the 1996 Annual Conference of the Australasian Law Teachers Association Adelaide, July 10-13.
