Welcome to the ALIA Distance Education Special Interest Group [DESIG] home page. The Distance Education SIG raises awareness of the the role of library services in distance education by promoting library service delivery to distance education students.
DESIG is relevant for professionals who deal with distance education students, or who work in institutions which provide distance education courses. Contributions to a quarterly newsletter are encouraged, and input for seminars and training is welcome.
