Rare Books and Special Collections [RARE]

Information forthcoming will include our mission statement, current news and additional links to the major Rare Book collection sites.

At the AGM Richard Overell was elected to another term as Convenor. The Committee will remain in Melbourne, and will consist of Des Cowley, and Brian Hubber from the State Library of Victoria, and Merete Smith and Ian Morrison of the Baillieu Library at the University of Melbourne.

The conference will be in Melbourne next November, at the Baillieu Library.

We wish to thank the Fryer Librarian Ros Follett and her staff at the University of Queensland, and Caroline Fewtrell and her colleagues from the State Library of Queensland for their hospitality and their help in making the conference a success.
